Replacement of Damaged Identity Card

CONDITIONS OF APPLICATION

• The applicant must come personally.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES
The applicant is required to go to the NRD Counter and bring along the following documents (original):

• Identity Card.

CASH/ CREDIT CARD

• Citizen = RM 10.00

If an application is made for a replacement MyKad within 12 months from the date of delivery of the card, no payment is imposed (FREE).

• Non-Citizen = RM 40.00

If an application is made for a replacement MyPR within 12 months from the date of delivery of the card, no payment is imposed (FREE).

Information: According to Regulation 13, National Registration Regulations 1990 (Amendment 200), every person whose Identity Card is damaged or destroyed is required to apply for replacement Identity Card immediately.
