Mission:

To register, maintain, safeguard and issue valid personal identification records for all residents of the country as well as to provide efficient, accurate and customer friendly services in the interest of the security and well-being of the country.

 

 

Objective:

 

To register and maintain records of birth, death, adoption, identity card, marriage, divorce and citizenship for all residents of Malaysia to meet national security and development needs.

 

  • To gather, consolidate and register important personal information;

  • To issue registration certificates;

  • To safeguard permanent registration records; and

  • To enforce Registration Acts, Ordinances and Regulations.
