Quality Policy: The National Registration Department of Malaysia is committed to providing quality, efficient,accurate and friendly services in the interests of the nation.

• In charge of registering, storing, and maintaining Malaysian residents's identification records;

• Issuing public registration certificates such as birth certificates, marriage registration certificates, identity cards, citizenship certificates, death certificates, and copy of the records;

• The enforcement of Acts, Ordinances, and Registration Regulations.
