Registration Of Birth During The Hajj (Peninsular)
Every birth that occurs during Hajj must be reported to the registrar in Hedjaz within 40 days from the date of birth or reported to the NRD Headquarters counter within 6 months from the date of birth. However, approval can only be made by the Registrar General of the NRD Headquarters. [Section 4(1)(a) and (b), Act 152].
Applications for Hedjaz birth registration can be made at any JPN Office throughout Peninsular Malaysia by submitting a completed JPN.LMH1 Form and accompanying supporting documents.
- Birth Certificate Document;
- Parent’s Identification Document;
- Informant’s Identification Document (if the informant is not the parent);
- Parent’s Marriage Document.
No fee chardged.
